In the real life there is already Metro in Bangalore and that was the thought of Shanker Nag in mid 80’s after he returned receiving award from London for his Malgudi Days. He spent lakhs on the Metro project and Rope Way to Nandi Hills. The then chief minister Ramakrishna Hegde was behind Shanker Nag dreams. But only Sankesh Studio took shape and got demolished after some years.

 

Now a software guy Shivakumar Sajjan an ardent fan of Shanker Nag has made it a point to give a gift to the fans of Shanker Nag on this 9th of November – 58th death anniversary and thus released one song Autone Devaru…sung by Shanker Manadevan in the music direction of ST Ravish for Dr Nagendra Prasad lyrics.

 

Shivakumar Sajjan wanted to release the film on this 9th but four and half minutes graphics he is deploying for the film consumed lot of time for him. Last year birth anniversary of Shanker Nag the film was launched.

 

Audio CD of ‘Metro’ containing one song was released by MLA and actor Ne La Narendra Babu. MG Raaj director of the film has liked the comedy and action part of Shobaraj, Kote Prabhakar and Dharma. 80 percent of shooting is over only 3 songs shooting needs to be completed.

 

Deepika Das and Hardhika Shetty are counterpart for Naveen Krishna who is in the lead. According to Naveen Krishna the film is a good tribute and entertaining for masses. There are no gimmicks and I have imitated Shanker Nag in the film. The producer, director, technicians, artists have together and made this film.

 

MLA from Bangalore Mahalakshmipuram Ne La Narendra Babu is in an important role. Deepika Das is a glam quotient while Hardhika Shetty is middle class homely girl in the film.
